Bio : Duncan Russell

Hello everyone this is Duncan Russell from Davidson, NC. I am a semi-retired business executive and though I have been a H4H volunteer in the past this will be my first GV build trip.

I have traveled on business throughout the world for over 30 years; been to SE Asia many times but never to Thailand. I am eager to learn about the country first hand and to make an important contribution along with you to improving the life of a Thai family. It will also be a pleasure to meet new people and share our stories. This is a learning laboratory that cannot be found anywhere else on earth. Give and we will all get back more than we can imagine.

For those who may wish to come along Susanna, JB and I are going to Phuket (pronounced Poo-get) on Saturday April 17 for a 4 day stay. I am researching accommodations and have some nice villas that can support from 4-8 people. If interested please blog back asap because time is getting short for reservations...I want to get a reservation by Feb 20 latest. FYI - we will stay away from Patong ( tourists and drunken college students) probably towards the north at Bao Tang or Laguna Bay based on my research. If anyone has stayed in Phuket and has good info please pass it along.
